After Week 2 of the 2022 college football season, these quarterbacks need to grab some pine.

It only took two weeks, but we might have seen enough out of these three starting quarterbacks.

Even though we are only a few weeks into the 2022 college football season, a handful of teams may need to make a change at quarterback. It may not happen overnight, but if these blue-bloods want to come out on top this season, a change may be necessary at the most important position on the field. Although their head coaches may not want to admit it, they will need to make a move.

If these teams want to be in the national title mix, somebody else has to drive the bus for them.

D.J. Uiagaelei is not going to get Clemson over the top, but Cade Klubnik could

Although the Clemson Tigers improved to 2-0 on the season by handling Furman at home, we may need to see a change at quarterback in the coming weeks. D.J. Uiagalelei continues to be reckless with the football. While he was a five-star coming out, so was Cade Klubnik. Even if the true freshman did not look great vs. the Paladins on Saturday, he has so much untapped potential.

Clemson does not need to make a move right this instant, as the Tigers should be able to beat Louisiana Tech fairly easily on Saturday, they may not win the division if they are truly at a quarterbacking disadvantage. While Clemson can afford to lose to either Wake Forest or North Carolina State, losses to both means it will be season over for the Tigers by very early October.

Though they can still win the ACC and make the playoff, it is hard to trust Clemson in the long run.
