AS Monaco Players Salaries 2022

AS Monaco were crowned the Ligue 1 champions in 2016/17.  They have had a fantastic season both domestically and in the Champions League. However, the following 2017/18 season wasn’t quite as good as they let go a number of key players including Bernardo Silva, Benjamin Mendy, Kylian Mbappe and Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Their biggest achievement happened in 2016/17 as they oversaw the development of 18-year-old striker Kylian Mbappe, who scored 6 goals in the Champions League and 26 goals overall that season helping them to win the French Ligue 1 title. However, they sold him to PSG for £160 million the following summer. So this season, they have struggled and are currently on the 16th position in the league table.

Monaco also let go off some key players in Aurélien Tchouameni, Strahinja Pavlovic and Pietro Pellegri this summer.
