Baylor head coach Dave Aranda was fired up during the Bear’s Week 4 game against the Iowa State Cyclones.

The No. 17 Baylor Bears were on the road for Week 4, as they took on the undefeated Iowa State Cyclones. During the game, the Cyclones were hit with numerous penalties, which saw head coach Matt Campbell scream at referees, especially on one controversial call.

As for Baylor head coach Dave Aranda, he was hyped with his team’s performance, to say the least.

The Bears were able to pick up their third win of the season, defeating the Cyclones 31-24.

After leading 17-14 at halftime, the second half was all Baylor. The Bears were able to increase their lead with a 19-yard touchdown run by Richard Reese, and a 38-yard touchdown pass from Blake Shapen to wide receiver Gavin Holmes to take the 31-14 lead.

Speaking of the aforementioned penalties that had Campbell furious, the Cyclones were called for eight penalties totaling 78 yards. Baylor on the other hand, received three penalties for 30 yards.

Baylor won the turnover battle, as they picked off two passes from Iowa State quarterback Hunter Dekkers.

Shapen completed 19-of-26 pass attempts for 238 yards and three touchdowns.

Baylor will look to carry the momentum into Week 5, as they face off against the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
